VirtualBoxVM.app "Check for Updates..." app menu item doesn't work on OS X — at Version 2

- Guest W7 Enterprise (32bit)
- VBox OSE svn:35228 (relatively close to 4.0.0
Steps:
- Start Windows VM
- In the apple menubar click the app menu (VirtualBox VM)
- Select "Check for Updates..."
Expected results:
- A dialog telling me that there are no updates available (I'm never out of date enough to get some other dialog) -- The dialog appears when the corresponding menu item is selected from VirtualBox.app
Actual results:
- Nothing happens

I can confirm this - actually wanted to create a bug report when I found this one. From the attached screenshots you see, that my current version is 4.0.0 and even though 4.0.2 is out it still tells me that I have the most current version when I ask to check it.
