Description (last modified by )
I am using a VirtualBox under Windows 7 x64 for testing a PXE server and it frequently hangs with 100% usage while attempting to PXE boot (after the UNDI message appears, before CLIENT MAC and DHCP..... appears) following a reset.
The issue has been reproduced under 3.1.4r57640 and 3.1.6r59338 using any virtual Intel NIC and Bridge/Host-Only networking. It does not occur using the PCnet/virtio adapters or NAT networking.
Reproduction simply involves starting a VM configured for network boot, letting it connect, and performing a reset on the VM. It does not always occur, but frequently.
Attempting to pause/close the VM results in an error such as:
Callee RC:Unknown Status 0x800706BE (0x800706BE)
VBox logs ending with a hang are attached.
