Description
I have VirtualBox 3.0.10 r54097 installed on Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit with 4 core processor and hyper threading turned on.
I am able to boot Windows XP service Pack 2 fine and run fine with USB version 1 turned on. However, If I shout down the VM then change the settings to enable USB 2.0, the Windows XP boot stops just after the screen resizes before it displays the XP login screen. I get a black screen and nothing else. No mouse. Nothing. The host is fine. I am forced to close the VM window.
When I then uncheck the USB 2.0 support and boot, all is well.
Thanks!
