Description

My host is a Ubuntu 9.10.

I'm using a VirtualBox 3.0.8.

I started one FreeBSD Virtual Machine and after the partitions are recognized and the installation processes began, after partition the disk and selecting the packages to install, the FreeBSD informs that are "No CD/DVD devices found! Please check that your system's configuration....". Note that I've boot the machine with the same image or same disk.

I've already tryed to use an ISO image and a CD to install and these two methods don't work.

The FreeBSD that I've been trying to install is FreeBSD 7.2 in a Ubuntu 9.10 host.

I've never seen such a problem here. Please try with a newer release of VirtualBox. Reopen if neccessary and attach a VBox.log of such a session.
