Description
I get a guru meditation and blue screen once in a while with Windows 7 or Vista guests when I set the guest to 4 processors (same as my host). Sometimes VirtualBox host crashes as well (sorry, didn't save a dump and can't reproduce for now).
The time of occurrence seems quite random, but for Vista, it almost always occurs while installing a Service Pack (perhaps related to the disk access?)
Using SATA, but I tried IDE once and it crashed also.
This is the log for the latest guru meditation.

Thanks for the report. Reducing the nr of cpus in the guest to 1 will work around the problem.
The fix will be included in 3.0.10. If you wish to try a test build, then I can send you a link.
I was going to open a similar ticket. See http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=22407#p103195
Any change I could try the 3.0.10 test build?
