Description
when running a solaris or linux guest on a Windows Vista host, sometimes (not always) the keyboard in the *host* OS is locked to capitals (as if caps-lock was pressed). Pressing SHIFT or CAPS-LOCK key toggles the keyboard, so that now keyboard in the guest OS behaves exactly the opposite than in host os.

I've been having exactly this problem for the past couple of weeks or so. It happens roughly every other day. I'm running VirtualBox 2.2.4 on Windows Vista and I've seen the problem both before and after upgrading to SP2. The guest OS has been Ubuntu or Fedora. It only seems to be the host OS that's affected and it's more like shift-lock is on because clicking on the host behaves as if the shift key is pressed (text gets selected from the current insertion point) and if you toggle CAPS LOCK you still get the characters on the top of each key.
I see this bug has been around for a while so I hope it will be fixed soon because you have to reboot Windows to resolve it.
