Description
Installing guest additions on a Windows XP SP3 guest OS causes the keyboard to not be recognized as valid. If this guest OS is running, the keyboard does not respond even on the host system. Previously-typed keystrokes will appear in a host OS application after the guest OS is killed.

You say that the keyboard does even not respond on the host system if that Windows XP guest is active. Do I understand right that even if you open a terminal window on the host and the terminal window is selected, no keystrokes are written into the terminal window until the guest is terminated?
