Description
While creating a virtual disk, changing the hard disk file type adds a new extension to the file. It does NOT change the existing extension, just adds a new one. So, you may end up with something like "harddisk.vdi.vhd.vmdk.vdi.vhd.vmdk.hdd.qcow" if changed the type multiple times.
Not really a bug, just an anoing gui behaviour.
Ubuntu 20.04, Budgie Desktop, fresh install of VitualBox 6.1.8.
