Description
There is no icon in the status bar where you can fast check the memory size assigned to the machine without opening settings. I guess this information is not less important than the nested paging active status or even the number of processors. May be the V chip icon is the most suitable one for this info.

This information is indeed shown in the "Session Information" window. But the V icon popup hint only has Execution engine, nested paging, number of processors etc but no memory size information which is strange.

You should check the "Session Information" window that's available with 6.1.0 beta/rc1. It has your Guest's RAM and much, much more...
With the VM window having the focus, "File" » "Session Information". Or HostKey+N by default.
