Description (last modified by )
I run VirtualBox 5.1.6 on my new Lenovo ThinkCentre M900 running Solaris 12 build 109, with my previous created Virtual environments. When I start a Virtual Machine, the Solaris 12 system panics.
First as I boot up Solaris I see which I will guess doesn't matter: Oct 11 21:11:56 fantasia1 krtld: [ID 711624 kern.warning] WARNING: Signature verification of module /platform/i86pc/kernel/drv/amd64/vboxdrv failed
Then when I run virtualbox with:
% uname -a SunOS fantasia1 5.12 s12_109 i86pc i386 i86pc % export VBOX_GUI_DBG_ENABLED=true % export VBOX_GUI_DBG_AUTO_SHOW=true % VirtualBox
as I start a Virtual Machine, VirtualBox immediately draws improperly on the screen with black splotches, (like it does not know the screen resolution). Then the screen goes blank, and the system panics.
% uname -a

% mdb -k unix.4 vmcore.4
bash-4.3# mdb -k unix.4 vmcore.4
