Attached the output from VBoxManage when trying to add hostonlyif:

Tried the following versions and issue still present: 5.0.0, 5.0.20, 5.0.26, 5.1.6 and 5.1.7. I cannot create hostonlyif either from terminal or GUI. I dont see any entry in messages file related to this, the GUI dont give any further explanation and from command line, "create" is not a supported flag for "VBoxManage hostonlyif".

same issue with GUI, it fails to create more hostonly networks, I only have vboxnet0 at the moment.
