OS/2 virtual machines crashes when pressing Ctrl-Alt-NumLock or Ctrl-Alt-F10 and restarting

Description
How to reproduce:
- Start a virtual machine with OS/2 or eComStation installed as a guest.
- Press Ctrl-Alt-NumLock or Ctrl-Alt-F10 twice.
- You get the screen saying "Insert a blank formatted diskette to begin dumping memory".
- Restart the virtual machine without inserting a floppy.
Actual: The virtual machine crashes with Guru Meditation after the boot blob.
Expected: The virtual machine won't be crashed.
