Description
Full discussion at forum https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=73998
El Capitan 10.11.1 beta 5 Virtualbox 5.0.6 fully installed included Guest Cd New clean installed W7 SP3 64bits with all modules updated ITunes 12.3 I get working USB3 as USB2 with a external hard disk
iPhone is recognized by Windows but not as iPhone (actually yes as iPhone but only MTP device, iTunes doesn't recognize any apple device (2 iPad and 2 iPhone with 9.0.2 not jailbroken)
I've tried many Windows tricks for working out but no solution 1) restart al Apple services 2) uninstall Apple Mobile, extract from iTunes.exe, and reinstall it with iPhone plugged 3) install manually appl64.inf in to update MTP Microsoft driver and there is where I found something don't work as expect. Many videos show that it took 1 second and pop up a window telling that it's updated. In my case the window that pop up say that can't find something correct for the system (later I will do again and catch the error) 4) based on previously error I've tried with 32 bit version for instance but the system is 64bits and can't be installed 5) I install a third party drives as "CopyTrans" that in critical case I read that could work 6) upgrade to Windows 10 and reinstall Guest CD 7) reset Windows 10 as clean system and reinstall iTunes and reinstall Guest CD
Absolute same system, with another virtualization program and iPhone recognized correctly in Windows 10 clean installation

One more try and almost success with new 5.0.8 Clean new Windows 10 installation and iTunes 12.3.1
I got real iPhone access with iTunes using eHCI USB 2.0 drive in Vbox settings. With xHCI USB 3.0 I can access at iPhone just as a camera
After all it looks that the bug is in mode xHCI works
