Virtualbox 4.3.18 disable logging

Reported by: karlsson Owned by:

Description (last modified by Ramshankar Venkataraman)

I have set system user variables:

VBOX_RELEASE_LOG_DEST=nofile
VBOXSVC_RELEASE_LOG_DEST=nofile
VBOX_GUI_SELECTORWINDOW_RELEASE_LOG_DEST=nofile

But one file still appears. "VBoxStartup.log" under \VirtualBox VMs\(Machine name)\Logs. How can I disable all log files?

That's currently only possible if you start the VM directly (VirtualBox --startvm VM_NAME) because the VM selector automatically appends --sup-startup-log=...VBoxStartup.log to the command line.
