Description
I want to use DVB adapters on guest VM. It works, channel scan and EPG are perfect, but the speed is too slow, it records only the 60% of the video stream. I have tried two adapters, and more guest OS, and the result is the same.
I have tried a USB HDD, for testing the speed.
- The HDD works on the host with 35 MByte/sec.
- The HDD works on the guest in the read direction 20 Mbit/sec. (5% of USB2 speed)
- The HDD works on the guest in the write direction 50 Mbit/sec. (10% of USB2 speed)
My host OS: openSUSE 13.1 64 bit, kernel: 3.11.10-7 VIRTUALBOX: 4.3.6r91406, ext. pack installed, USB2 checked
