IP address of the Virtual Box changes after every restart

Description
I am using Virtual Box version-4.2.8. I set the IP to 192.168.56.1, after a restart, IP address in the virtual box changes.

The VBox.log file you attached shows a session for a VM where only one NAT adapter is configured.

The VBox.log file you attached shows a session for a VM where only one NAT adapter is configured.
There is one NAT Adapter, set to a particular IP address.
IP address resets to a default IP address, when the host machine is restarted.
Refer to the attached images file to see the default IP address, the Virtual Box resets to.
