Description (last modified by )
I'm using VirtualBox 1.5.4 with NAT networking and a FreeBSD 7RC1 client. I had to manually set the media of the networkadapter to get things working: ifconfig pcn0 media 10baseT/UTP

No fix available. FreeBSD does not like our PCNet network adapter for some reasons. But changing the network adapter from PCNet-III to PCNet-II in the VM settings should make the network card work.

For FreeBSD use the E1000 emulation.

The problem with Am79C973 emulation, which no one probably cares about anymore, is now fixed in svn. It fixes both FreeBSD and NetBSD guests.

Hi!
I just tried to start RC2 iso: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/ISO-IMAGES/7.0/7.0-RC2-i386-bootonly.iso
And the DHCP fails to configure the network. Should we raise the priority of this bug?
