| #3272 | obsolete | Windows Xp Shared Folders pointing to root filesystem(/) often hang when trying to access | ||
| Description |
I have had difficulty with shared folders if I try and map a network drive in windows XP, where I have setup a shared folder that points to root. This used to work, but somewhere between and including 2.06 to 2.1.2 mapping root has gotten busted. Now with 2.1.2 if I try and map the root, the tool will not directly allow you to. You have to choose the mac disk itself, but then the tool inserts nothing for the path and "." for the name. Strange. |

| #3282 | obsolete | Guest Windows Vista x64: Guest Additions Video driver corrupted after reboot with high resolution 1920x1200 | ||
| Description |
System: Mac Mini Intel Core2Duo 1,83GHz, Host: Mac OS X Leopard, Guest: Windows Vista x64 OEM Virtualbox 2.1.2 --- I added manually the screen resolution 1920x1200. After installation of the guest additions, I changed in the control panel of Vista the screen resolution to 1920x1200. Vista seems to support this new screen resolution. However, when I reboot the system, the screen is damaged completely. I can only see stripes with the color of the screen background. At startup of Vista I pressed the F8 key and selected start up with low resolution 640x480. Now, the screen is okay. When I set up the screen resolution in the control panel to 1920x1200, the screen shows the new resolution correctly. But after reboot of the system, the video driver seems to crash again with this high resolution. |
