Description

Host is: OpenSUSE 11.0 64-bit Guest is: WinXP 32 bit The settings fot the virtual box are: 2GB RAM (of 4GB physical) and 128MB video memory (out of 128 available), i tried also with 64mb video - same result.

Software tested and results:

Luxology Modo - it on program startup with a Send/Don't Send popular windows message. The virtual machine must be restarted after that to clean the screen.

Blender (windows version) - successful navigation in 3D space. When trying to use the top menu - the program freezes. The virtual machine must be restarted after that to clean the screen.

3D Studio MAX 2009. The 3d part of the interface looks broken and program is also unusable as other 3d programs mentioned.

OSGViewer - itt makes 160fps but GLSL shaders don't work as expected (wrong shading).

--- Hardware used: Dual Xeon EM64T 2.8GHz, 4GB RAM, 160+500GB SATA disks, NVidia Quadro FX 560/128MB OS: OpenSUSE 11.0 64-bit

#3092 obsolete Photoshop CS3/CS4 color management George Anchev
Description

Color proofing doesn't work.

#3094 obsolete have to remove vbox modules to restart windows xp guest Brian J. Murrell
Description

On the same host that runs virtualbox which I have filed tickets 1923, 1299 I have an additional problem. It seems that if I start my windows xp guest first time after a boot it starts fine. A subsequent boot of the winxp guest (i.e. after I have done a restart/shutdown in the winxp guest) will hang on startup at the winxp splash screen. I then have to stop the winxp guest, "rmmod vboxnetflt vboxdrv" and them modprobe them back in and restart the guest to have it working again.

BTW: this is also the host/guest where the mouse capture doesn't work, but that might be related to the ticket where adding the guest additions fails for some silly reason. It would appear that whoever was working on that issue simply threw up his hands in defeat.
