| #14531 | fixed | VirtualBox 4.3.30 GURU_MEDITATION with Kernel 4.2.0 | ||
| Description |
I compiled kernel version 4.2.0 (Gentoo) and recompiled VB modules. When starting my Windows 32 bit VM I get Guru Mediation and when starting Windows 10 64 bit VM it locks up host system. I dropped back to using kernel 4.1.6 and do not have the problem. |

| #15023 | duplicate | No seamless mode Windows 10 with 3D enabled | ||
| Description |
The issue is that with all versions of VB 5 (up to 5.0.12) I can not get seamless mode to work with Windows 10 and 3D enabled. I have a laptop and desktop with ATI graphics cards and observe the same behavior on both systems. There was some problems with a few Windows 7 programs too. What happens is that when I switch to seamless mode I get a black screen, in all other modes it works. If I disable 3D option then seamless mode works. When I switch to seamless mode with 3D enabled and get the black screen, I cannot switch back to a full or scaled screen, the screen remains black. When the screen is black and I select close, the Close Virtual Machine popup window comes up and I can see the Windows desktop. This is not a problem with 4.3.x VB builds, in fact I reverted to running my desktop with 4.3.32 with no problem. The host systems are Gentoo builds running 4.3.x kernels and xorg 1.17.4. What logs and information should I provide? |

| #11492 | fixed | openSUSE 12.2 boots into emergency mode after new kernel update | ||
| Description |
I have an openSUSE Linux guest on a Windows 7 host that has been running for quite some time. Recently there was a kernel update along with the guest additions from the openSUSE build service. Ever since the update a reboot causes the guest to go into "emergency mode" just after "Creating device nodes with udev" is displayed. Booting with "safe" mode works. The guest also seems to start ok the first time after rebooting the host. I have also tried uninstalling the build service guest additions and install them manually and still have the problem. VirtualBox 4.2.6 Dell XPS workstation running Windows 7 64 bit. openSUSE 12.2 with kernel 3.4.28-2.20 |
