| #12938 | fixed | VMs seem to crash on network loss | ||
| Description |
I have some VMs (esp. WinXP and Win7) which seem to crash when my host looses network connection. Host is a Linux Mint 16 Petra. I have installed last version of VB (4.3.10) manually (not from the repo). I searched the web a bit and found some problems in using more the one cpu for a guest. maybe it depends as well (or in combination) to the cpu-settings. I have always set two cpus with 80percent to each VM. BTW: Many thanks for VirtualBox, great work! |

| #12939 | fixed | Network icon wording in VM status bar | ||
| Description |
If a VM runs in window mode you see an icon for network in the status bar. Right click on this you can connect / disconnect the network - that is very good. But the wording for connected and disconnected network adapter ist always "Netzwerkadapter verbinden" (german GUI) UNdepending if network IS connected or IS NOT. Probably thats a small change but would be nice anyway. Maybe you can also change the icon to visualise IF network is connected or not. An idea would be to have the monitor symbol overlayed with a red X for disconnetion. Many thanks. |

| #12943 | wontfix | VMM Device not compatible to Win 7 | ||
| Description |
Win7's problem taskbar info shows the information "Herunterladen von Updates zum Beheben eines Problems bei Virtualbox VMM Device" (see screenshot). The links directs to "Systemsteuerung\Alle Systemsteuerungselemente\Wartungscenter\Meldungsdetails" (subpart of Win system control). There you can make this download: http://dlc.sun.com.edgesuite.net/virtualbox/3.1.2/VirtualBox-3.1.2-56127-Win.exe Maybe this problem refers to this bug: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/4841. Sounds at least similar! There is no crash so i don't add any dump or log. |
