| #11449 | obsolete | Unable to PXE boot over NAT from Windows 7 64 bit host. | ||
| Description |
I'm unable to PXE boot. I tried setting up both 32 & 64 bit Linux (Red Hat) VMs. I start the VM, hit F12 and boot from LAN (using 'l'). The last thing displayed on the screen is my gateway ip... Then it just pauses. The logs (see attached) have only two errors that I notice:
I've also attached my PXE file... Though, it doesn't even appear to be getting that far. |

| #11452 | obsolete | Graphics corruption when using Intel SNA AccelMethod on linux host | ||
| Description |
This may be a bug in the the intel xorg driver. I will report a bug with them as well. Host Ubuntu 12.10 x86_64 host xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.20 Guest Ubuntu 12.04 i686 Enable SNA acceleration method in xorg.conf on the host. Option "AccelMethod" "sna" The entire screen in the VM will go black as the mouse cursor moves. Selecting or moving a window will make the window visible again (screen all around the window remains black). If I change the AccelMethod back to UXA by removing the AccelMethod line from the host xorg.conf file, graphics in the guest work correctly again. |

| #11454 | obsolete | Sophos Device Control Wifi block bridged functionality doesn't work with Oracle VirtualBox installed | ||
| Description |
It seems that VirtualBox Host-only Ethernet Adapter wrongly reports itself to be a physical device and its status seems to be 'connected' always. This is why Sophos Device Control thinks that there is a physical connection to the network and disables the WiFi devices (if block bridged option is used). To determin if an interface is virtual or physical Network Configuration Interfaces is used, but the same list is found under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} key (Network Adapters class). The 'Characteristics' value of a virtual adapter should have a value of 1 (Virtual) . The Virtual Box Host Only Ethernet Adapter seems to have 'Characteristics'=4 (Physical). |
