| #2562 | duplicate | Request for File Drag & Drop between Host and Guest | ||
| Description |
At present (2.04) there is no ability to drag and drop files between Windows host and Windows guest. IMO This is the biggest drawback when comparing VirtualBox to VirtualPC or VMWare. If this ability was there I would be able to move the entire team over to VirtualBox as all our procedures involving VMs use drag and drop between host and guest. Posting under additions as I assume that is where the functionality needs to be added. |

| #2563 | fixed | VirtualBox 2.0.4 Crashes After Cut and Paste | ||
| Description |
This usually occurs when using Outlook inside VirtualBox running XP SP2. Cutting text from outside VirtualBox (host Ubuntu 8.04) then pasting it into VirtualBox causes a quick and immediate crash of the VM. VirtualBox manager stays open. Sometimes it won't crash if I cut and paste from gedit into notepad. So it may have something to do with the encoding. Copying from the VM to the host is fine. |

| #2564 | duplicate | VirtualBox 2.0.4 crash | ||
| Description |
I am running latest VirtualBox 2.0.4 64bit on Windows Vista 64. After installing latest Xubuntu (same problem with Ubuntu) 8.10 64bit under VirtualBox (With VT-x enabled) the vbox is crashing when I try to use kdgb inside ubuntu/xubuntu. I can start kdgb just fine and open application build with c++ with -g. as soon as I try to run it I get message that virtual box crashed. After restarting xubuntu I try this again and it worked for few times and than again. I am attaching the log and png file. I did installed Guest Addidtions under Xubuntu and Ubuntu. Here is my box info Intel Core2 Quad 2.8 Ghz, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HD RAID1, Two Radion HD 3650 with 1GB RAM each, 2 x 24" LCD and 1 x 30" LCD (All Samsung) |
