| #5276 | obsolete | [mac] toolbar does not retain collapsed state across restarts | ||
| Description |
On Mac Snow Leopard the collapsed state of the main toolbar on the vm chooser window does not stay collapsed across restarts of VirtualBox. Not sure if this is cocoa code, but if it is, it can be configured to autosave this state. Otherwise you need to manually persist it in the preferences so the user preference is respected. | #9814 | duplicate | [mac] Default path for virtual machines directory is wrong | ||
| Description |
Hi there, by default all virtual machines are stored in '~/VirtualBox VMs', which is very bad as it's directly in my home directory which gets very cluttered by all the applications just putting stuff in there. It should instead be in ~/Library/Application Support/VirtualBox or in ~/Library/VirtualBox. Reasoning being, that I as the user shouldn't have to care to manually change anything in that folder. (Thas the reason they should also not be in in the Documents folder). Oh, and while you're at it please by default mark the virtual machines as excluded from backups. |

| #5444 | fixed | [guest additions] nullsoft install system vX.XX.XXX | ||
| Description |
In the guest additions installer you can see the label 'Nullsoft system vX.XXX'. Although it is nice install system (I use it as well), I prefer to not include such information in installers - it looks a bit less profesional :) It can be easily removed by adding the following line into the nsis script: BrandingText " " |
