| #14944 | wontfix | Virtualbox issues an erroneous warning upon setting more CPUs than physical cores regardless of hyperthreading | ||
| Description |
This issue is discussed in detail at https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=64548 The main problem is that if a host's CPU is hyperthreaded, the guest should be allowed to be allocated up to the number of hyperthreaded processors, but there is a warning if the number is greater than the number of physical CPUs. This behavior is also inconsistent, as described in the forum post. |

| #1563 | fixed | Virtualbox doesn't work with UseCompositeWrapper option enabled | ||
| Description |
Virtualbox makes X crash if you use UseCompositeWrapper option in your xorg.conf file. This option needs if you have nvidia card and you have some messy problem using compiz (see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/222714) If you comment the option, everything works well, so it is definitely the guilty. Kubuntu 8.04 Virtualbox 1.6.0 from deb site (no repository) I had the same error with VB 1.5.6 |
