| #2520 | fixed | Windows XP Client/Linux Host: Fails to rename file on shared folder to same file name with other case | ||
| Description |
I have a Windows XP running inside VirtualBox with a linux host (Gentoo). Let's assume there is a file named "Test.txt" on a shared folder (so the underlying filesystem is ext3fs). Now I try to rename this file (using Explorer or other tools) to "test.txt". So the target name and the source name only differ in case and are in the same directory. There is now error message, but the file is not renamed. Workaround: for renaming the file I first have to rename it to another name that not only differs in case (e.g. "Test2.txt") and then can rename it to the wished name. |

| #2521 | obsolete | Zone.Identifier:$Data appears on copy from XP local file to shared folder (ext3) | ||
| Description |
When I copy a file from a local NTFS filesystem to a shared folder with underlying ext3fs, sometimes additionally to the file a second file with the appendix ":Zone.Identifier:$Data" is created. The content is useless, something like [ZoneTransfer] ZoneId=3 |
