| #12643 | fixed | Snapshot Saved State Deletion and Path Errors | ||
| Description |
I am getting this error on 64-bit OpenSUSE VirtualBox 4.2.6_OSE r82870 when I try to start a VM I just restored to it's last saved state. It had previously been working: Failed to open a session for the virtual machine vista.
VM cannot start because the saved state file '/home/scriptjunkie/VirtualBox VMs/vista/Snapshots/2013-10-15T23-41-12-950945000Z.sav/Snapshots/2013-10-15T23-41-12-950945000Z.sav/Snapshots/2013-10-15T23-41-12-950945000Z.sav' is invalid (VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND). Delete the saved state prior to starting the VM.

"/home/scriptjunkie/VirtualBox VMs/vista/" is the main folder for the VM and there is a subfolder "/home/scriptjunkie/VirtualBox VMs/vista/Snapshots/" which has some virtual disk files in it, but no subfolders. It appears for some reason, the file "/home/scriptjunkie/VirtualBox VMs/vista/Snapshots/2013-10-15T23-41-12-950945000Z.sav" does NOT exist, which leads me to believe that VirtualBox has deleted my saved state, and managed to mangle the path to it in the process. I know this is not the absolute most updated VirtualBox version, but it is the most updated in the OpenSUSE repositories, and download.virtualbox.org is down right now. (for everyone http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/download.virtualbox.org ) Also, I did not see any other bug tickets referencing problems like this, so I have to assume it still exists in the latest version. This is now the second VM |

| #7101 | obsolete | Bridging not working anymore (VBox 3.2.0 regression; Marvell?) | ||
| Description |
i am running debian lenny 32bit and upgraded virtualbox from 3.1. up to 3.2.6; after the upgrade it works expect the network (windows xp guest with intel pro 1000 driver); the host is a dell xps m1530 notebook with the marvell 88e8040 ethernet controller; setting it to nat mode works, but bridging mode does not work anymore.... deinstalling 3.2.6 and re-installing 3.1 does also not help, because the windows xp guest is starting and network in bridging mode works again - but the console window will not be displayed on 3.1 now.... so i upgraded again to 3.2.6 where only nat is working... |

| #2315 | fixed | VirtualBox crashes when trying to install guest addditons | ||
| Description |
If I click on "Devices", "Install Guest Additions..." sometimes the VM crashes. If above works and I click on "Mount CD/DVD-ROM" and select a Host Drive the VM and the VirtualBox GUI crashes. Note: The guest additions 2.0.2 are already installed on this guest. I only wanted to view the contents of the CD image. Host: Ubuntu Hardy x64 (no VT) Guest: Windows XP Professional |
