| #11321 | obsolete | PCI passthrough failed on A4-5300+A85X M/B.... | ||
| Description |
I had an A4-5300+A85X system which support IOMMU and is enabled in BIOS. When I try to let the guest access some I/O directly via pci passthrough,sometimes the vboxpci says iommu_attach_device fail(just like https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=51143),but sometimes success. And the guest could detect the device but does not receive any interrupt. But I am failed to building VirtualBox by myself,any advice?? |

| #11323 | obsolete | Virtualbox Manager 4.2.6 hangs when certain inaccessible VMs are present => fixed in SVN | ||
| Description |
I've installed the latest Virtualbox (VirtualBox-4.2.6-82870-OSX.dmg) and the VirtualBox Manager opens and hangs (retrieving/populating the VM information?) and I need to force kill it! Reverted to 4.2.2 and 4.2.4 and it works fine! |

| #11325 | obsolete | The Host-only network adapter and Wireless adapter are not compatible | ||
| Description |
I have VBox installed on Win7 64-bit and Host-only Networks all adapters removed. In 'ipconfig all' I can see the wireless adapter: Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection 7: ...
... The wiresless adapter is opearational and network works OK. In Windows Device Manager, in Network Adapters, I can see:
Then I add adapter to the Host-only Networks: VBox Main menu | File | Preferences | Network, then adding Host-Only Ethernet Adpater. If I do 'ipconfig all', I see: Ethernet adapter VirtualBox Host-Only Network: ...
But the wireless adapter dissapears from the list. There is no network connection as well. (I have wired insterface disconnected). Checking info in Windows Device Manager, in Network Adapters:
But the "Intel(R) Centrino(R) Ultimate-N 6300 AGN" shows as disabled. Trying to enable it fails. If I disable "VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter", the "Intel(R) Centrino(R) Ultimate-N 6300 AGN" gets enabled automatically and network connection restores. Needless to say, that VBox Host-only Networks now gets empty. If I re-enable "VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter", the wireless adapter gets disabled automatically, so they can not be both enabled. I should mention, that wired Ethernet adapater is always enabled and, if the laptop is connected by wire, the network works OK. It is the wireless and Host-only adapater which are not compatible. There was same defect in VBox 4.1.14 and up. This was the oldest version tried on this laptop. |
