| Description |
I found that the Guest OS (Win XP) is very lag on playing HD Video. I have tested 3rd party Virtual Machine on the Same Host can be smoothly play that video. Besides, I found there is a problem on enabling 2D Video Acceleration. The video will be broken when I enabled that feature. Below is my Hardware of my laptop. CPU: Intel Core I5 2467M /1.6 GHZ Chipset: HM65 RAM: DDR3 1333 8 GB RAM (2GB on the Guest OS) Display Card: Intel Graphics 3000 HDD: 500GB SATAII (5400RPM) |

| #11318 | obsolete | Kernel module vboxdrv : Inconsistent lock state | ||
| Description |
Hi all, the Linux kernel module vboxdrv of Virtualbox 4.2.6 (and also 4.2.4 and 4.2.2) uses an inconsistent lock state. According to the hint of Thomas Gleixner I enabled the kernel debugging feature "CONFIG_PROVE_LOCKING" in a vanilla kernel 3.2.34. (Please find my kernel config attached). When loading vboxdrv.ko dmesg shows the following output: vboxdrv: Found 4 processor cores. vboxdrv: fAsync=0 offMin=0x514 offMax=0x57f5 ================================= [ INFO: inconsistent lock state ] 3.2.34-2 #2 inconsistent {HARDIRQ-ON-W} -> {IN-HARDIRQ-W} usage. swapper/1/0 [HC1[1]:SC0[0]:HE0:SE1] takes:

| #11319 | obsolete | Extension pack download is not secure | ||
| Description |
The installer downloads the extension pack from http://dlc.sun.com.edgesuite.net/virtualbox/4.2.6. IMHO https should be used or there should be some kind of digital signature, even if it's just gpg. |
