| #5039 | fixed | Crashes on 64-bit kernel with 3D acceleration enabled | ||
| Description |
Host is running Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.1 under the 64-bit kernel: parasyte@Frylock:~$ uname -a Darwin Frylock.local 10.0.0 Darwin Kernel Version 10.0.0: Fri Jul 31 22:46:25 PDT 2009; root:xnu-1456.1.25~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64 Guest is running Windows XP SP3. Enabling or disabling 3D acceleration causes a crash. (See crash log.) Restarting VirtualBox shows the 3D acceleration status as "Enabled" -- Running GPU Caps Viewer shows OpenGL version 1.1, instead of the expected 2.0 Booting the Host into its 32-bit kernel allows 3D acceleration to work, and does not crash when enabling/disabling the option. |
