#2605 fixed Crash with snow screen with guest Windows XP SP2 hkfastfood
Description

VBox crashes 2 times a day for the last few days. I think it may be related to shared folder. Case 1: When I open an Excel file in Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and never close the Excel file, for unknown no. of hours, I saved it. Then crash the VBox and snow screen. Case 2: My MS Outlook 2003 points to a personal file located in Mac OS X folder (through the shared folder). Not repeatable; but, when I compose a new email and press the "Send" button, then crash again and the same snow screen. Case 3: When I open the file Explore showing the shared folder files and leave it here to have lunch, after that, when I double click an Excel to open it, VBox crashed and snow screen shown.

For your information, I always connect with VPN using checkpoint.

#1132 fixed Crash/Hang in Vista Business Host Jason Piskiel
Description

Windows Vista Business hangs and becomes completely unresponsive when running a virtual machine (in this case, running Fedora 7) when the wireless radios are powered on. The VM runs normally when the wireless radios are powered off.

I am attaching a zip file containing the log files that are in the [user/.virtualbox/machines/machinename/logs] directory.

#930 fixed Crashed unexpectedly at restart Paolo Marini
Description

I created and used for a couple of times a test VM with just Firefox 3 Beta 1 installed on top of a patched Windows XP SP2. Today I created and added a second (virtual) hard disk and also changed the default NAT to be a host network interface and moved the NAT as the second interface. Now each time that I start the VM it crashed after a few seconds during boot, and even if I switch back to previous settings or create a new machine with the same main (virtual) disk it does the same... Thanks
