| #376 | fixed | Network drive failes on reconnecting | |||
| Description |
Hello, I think this might be related to http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/22. I mapped a directory of my host OS (Debian 4.0) to a device on my guest OS (in this case E:\ on a Win 2k). Right after mapping this directory I can see the directory's contents although the device is shown in the explorer with a red cross (I think that might indicate some problem(s)). However, I can navigate through the directory's content. But if I e.g. open a presentation and try to save it in that very same place it has been before the problems start. First it takes a while, then am message appears. It says 'An error occured while reconnecting E:\ to \vboxsvr\mysharepoint VirtualBox Shared Folders : The local device name is already in use. This connection has not been restored.' From this time on I can't connect to device via explorer either. Can you please help me with this as VirtualBox is only of use for me if I can exchange data with my host OS. |

| #378 | fixed | Won't Install with New Linux Kernel | |||
| Description |
With the recent kernel update patched through in Ubuntu (2.6.20-16), Vbox no longer will run. It ran fine with 2.6.20-15 and I have since reinstalled Ubuntu from scratch to ensure I did not have a dependency issue. Thank you for your time, below is the error message I get: make KBUILD_VERBOSE=1 -C /lib/modules/2.6.20-16-generic/build SUBDIRS=/tmp/vbox.1 SRCROOT=/tmp/vbox.1 modules gcc: Internal error: Segmentation fault (program cc1) Please submit a full bug report.
