| #4449 | fixed | Virtualbox 3.0: Black Screen When Starting a VM -> fixed in 3.0.2 | ||
| Description |
The bug I am experiencing is similar to the one described http://www.virtualbox.de/ticket/2245 here. However, there are some significant differences and it is occurring in VMWare 3.0 My OS: Mandriva 2009.1 running kernel 2.6.29.3-desktop-1mnb My graphics card: ATI RS690 (X1200 series) Now, originally virtual box was working fine on my system and I had no issues. However, yesterday I was having trouble playing back video files. After some googling I tracked the bug down to an issue with the X.org driver I am using (I'm using the driver "ati" (Not "fglrx", as it no longer supports my X1200 series chipset and no "radeonhd" because it's just too slow)). I solved my video issues by disabling EXA and using XAA for X.org. However, it seems that disabling EXA has caused Virtual Box to exhibit the behaviour described in ticket 2245. Has anyone else experienced this? |

| #4450 | fixed | Black screen with any virtual machine after update to 3.0.0_ose | ||
| Description |
Hi, after upgrading to Virtualbox 3.0.0_ose (from Debian unstable), my virtual machines do only show black screens when running. When I force Virtualbox to open a dialog on the host screen, I get the correct display inside the VM window, but the window becomes black again when I close the dialog. Starting the VM with VboxSDL -startvm helps, output is OK then. If you need additional information, please ask and I'll happily try to help. Greetings Marc |

| #4451 | fixed | documentation problem in User Manual of VirtualBox 3.0.0 r49315 Chapter 3.2 | ||
| Description |
Page 35 in the .pdf File differs with 3 Starting out with VirtualBox In fact there is no "Existing..." Button which will bring up the Virtual Disk Manager. Well difficult to describe: Documentation just has to be brought up to the current version of VirtualBox. Keep up the good work. |
