#1496 fixed Upgrading from 1.5.51 to 1.6 op OpenSolaris Mark Edwards
Description

I had a working version of 1.5.51 on OpenSolaris build 86 and installed 1.6. At first I had an error telling me that there was an old version of a driver installed, so I removed the new package and the old INNOvBox package. The re-installed - no apparent errors. Attempting to start a machine now gives me an error. "VirtualBox kernel driver not installed. VBox status code: -1908 (VERR_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED).

Result Code: 0x80004005 Component: Console Interface: IConsole {d5a1cbda-f5d7-4824-9afe-d640c94c7dcf}"

Thanks for your help

#11472 obsolete Mac host, Win7 Guest keeps aborting after Mac sleeps Mark_W
Description

I'm currently running 4.2.6 r82870 on a Mac host. There is a single Windows 7 guest which I have been happily running for years. Since changing to this release of VBOX I have found that when the Mac hosts sleeps while the Win7 guest is running, on resuming the Mac host the Win7 guest immediately aborts after looking like it is paused, for a fraction of a second (greyed out).

I have read various articles about disabling all power management in the Win7 guest, which I have done - however the problem still occurs.

It worked fine up until this VBOX release - when the host slept, the guest would automatically pause, then resume ok when the host woke up.

#17498 duplicate 5.2.6 Seamless issue Debian Host (Windows 7 32bit guest) Markd89
Description

On my test machine I have Debian 9.3, Kernel 4.9, Virtualbox 5.2.6. The Windows 7 virtual machine is working nicely, BUT when I enter Seamless mode, the video inside the VM window is not updated. I click and type and don't see things happening. When I try to move the VM window, I'm mostly unsuccessful. I thought that this might be the video driver in use on the host so I replaced the open one with the Nvidia driver, but it had no effect.

Another user says that they had the same issue and reverted to 5.2.0 which resolved the issue. The thread is here https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=86447

I am working on my test machine and would be happy to use alpha code to test the issue. (i.e. I will not cry if my virtual environment gets borked)
