#15509 obsolete Enabling 'Solid-state Drive' checkbox hangs Win10 guest ngoonee1
Description

Title basically says it all. I've a Win10 guest which I've used extensively, and it stopped working a whiles ago. Being busy I assumed it had gotten corrupted, and only recently did I have time to restore a backup (80 GB transferred remotely isn't quick).

The backup had the exact same behaviour, that is to say it would start up and do continuous I/O on the hard disc (I had it on an SSD). Same behaviour after moving the disk image to a HDD. The VM itself would not completely boot, most times. Sometimes it would get to desktop, but I would never get to actually do/run anything.

After lots of trial and error turning off the SSD checkbox fixed it, the VM works as before.

My host is Arch Linux 64-bit, and both my SSD and HDD are using the BTRFS file system. Virtualbox version is 5.0.20.

#15505 obsolete Unable to start virtual machine: VERR_SUP_VP_EXE_VS_PROC_NAME_MISMATCH ds203
Description

When trying to start VM (Windows 10) on Windows 10 (10.0.10586) host, I get the following error message after trying to start virtual machine:

supHardenedWinVerifyProcess failed with VERR_SUP_VP_EXE_VS_PROC_NAME_MISMATCH: (rc=-5618)

The VBoxHardening.log shows that it is trying to evaluate paths but evaluating Program Files vs. PROGRA~1 seems to fail.

Process image name does not match the exectuable we found: \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VirtualBox.exe vs \Device\HarddiskVolume4\PROGRA~1\Oracle\VIRTUA~1\VIRTUA~1.EXE.

I'm using VirtualBox 5.0.20 r106931.
