| #5420 | fixed | When guest SMP is enabled, root partition of Gentoo Linux guest sometimes becomes read-only, or the guest freezes -> retry with 3.1.4 | ||
| Description |
When I have SMP enabled for my Gentoo Linux guest, after some hours of compiling (like 2 or 3 hours or so) I often receive a message that my root partition has become read-only, and I have to switch off and restart the guest. It happened also for me that the guest simply froze. But it can also happen if the guest is idle, for example I had another Gentoo guest active over night and when I checked it in the morning, it was frozen. It seems to me though that the problems occur most of the time after a certain time of high CPU load. I have never had a lock of my root partition with deactivated SMP. |

| #2902 | fixed | Installing Newsleecher freezes vbox | ||
| Description |
When installing Newsleecher, either beta or release version inside a Windows 2000 guest, the guest will freeze during the last phase of the setup and needs to be powered down or reset. Newleecher trial versions can be downloaded from http://www.newsleecher.com//?id=download I think this is easy to reproduce. Perhaps someone can fix it? I did not try any other guest or host OS. Host was Ubuntu 8.10 with 32 bit. Enabling/disabling VT-x makes no difference. |

| #4796 | fixed | typo in the vboxadd.sh init script | ||
| Description |
There's a small typo in the vboxadd.sh script: "if !umount -a -t vboxsf 2>/dev/null; then" => "if ! umount -a -t vboxsf 2>/dev/null; then" I attached a patch which fixes this problem. |
