| #11710 | invalid | Repeatable Guru Meditation when booting a Gentoo install ISO | ||
| Description |
Host Mac OS X 10.7.5, MacBook Pro. This Guru Meditation is 100% repeatable. Create a new VM with default values, type Gentoo_64, pass it a install-ia64-minimal-2013xxx.iso for Gentoo Linux (instructions to find the ISO at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-ia64.xml?part=1&chap=2#doc_chap2), start the VM. Crash. The crash happens at least with VB 4.2.10 and 4.2.12. The crash happens with at least all the Gentoo install ISO from March and April 2013. If I pass another bootable ISO, Ubuntu for example, the VM boots fine and I can install the guest :-) |
