| #12501 | duplicate | A critical error | ||
| Description |
I was trying to add virtual machine and get this: "A critical error has occurred while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped. For help, please see the Community section on http://www.virtualbox.org or your support contract. Please provide the contents of the log file VBox.log and the image file VBox.png, which you can find in the C:\Documents and Settings\moj pc\VirtualBox VMs\Android PC\Logs directory, as well as a description of what you were doing when this error happened. Note that you can also access the above files by selecting Show Log from the Machine menu of the main VirtualBox window. Press OK if you want to power off the machine or press Ignore if you want to leave it as is for debugging. Please note that debugging requires special knowledge and tools, so it is recommended to press OK now." |

| #6452 | duplicate | Running vBox under Mac OS X 64 bit mode reboots iMac | ||
| Description |
I have been running vBox with Win XP SP3 under Mac OS Snow Leopard 32 bits OS mode for some time without any problems. I recently changed my OS settings to run in 64 bits. This has rendered vBox (v3.1.6 r59351) unstable and actually made the iMac reboot without any warning. Complete reboot. It is not like I was doing anything complex in Win XP SP3 or that I have tweaked the OSes (XP or Mac OS X). Reverted to 32 bits Max OS X mode. No problems at all. I was able to complete what I had to do (running QuickTax - no much fun - next year I'll use the online version). So, in short, latest vBox version crashed under OS X SL 64 bits mode but is quite fine if the OS boots in 32 bits. Max |
