| #4333 | fixed | vmware-mount.pl for VirtualBox | ||
| Description |
VMWare Server 2.0 includes an incredibly useful little tool called vmware-mount. This tool makes use of FUSE and a loopback mechanism to quickly and easily mount VMDK files on the host system for read-write access. This is incredibly useful and beats the hell out of the various hackey methods for mounting Virtual Box images on the host. Also, unlike said hackey methods, it works for dynamically expanding VMDKs. A tool for Virtual Box that does the same would be very very cool. |

| #4335 | fixed | Video mostly black in all guests | ||
| Description |
Environment: Debian sid i386. Radeon Mobile video chipset, running 32-bit 1024x768. Even the "BIOS" screen appears in black-on-black. Windows XP, when it boots to the desktop, shows only a few features (eg. parts of the start bar icon). The rest of the screen is black. This is the same in seamless and fullscreen modes. It doesn't matter whether 3D is turned on or off. The guest OS does work, and is visible if you enable RDP and view it using rdesktop. Screen is still mostly black after installing the 3.0.0 Guest Additions |

| #4336 | fixed | webservice SMF method fails due to mis-named shell script | ||
| Description |
VBox 3.0.0 final, Solaris Express Community Edition build snv_117. I noticed that there is a svc:/application/virtualbox/webservice:default in the 3.0.0 version and thought I should enable it. As shipped, this service goes immediately to maintenance mode because the shell script the manifest refers to is missing.
[ Jul 1 13:24:47 Executing start method ("/opt/VirtualBox/smf-vboxwebsrv start"). ] The file that is shipped with SUNWvbox is /opt/VirtualBox/smf-vboxwebserv.sh. Symlinking this file to /opt/VirtualBox/smf-vboxwebserv and running "svcadm clear" for the webservice allows the webservice to start. |
