| #4293 | duplicate | Crash of VirtualBox while ArchLinux guest is booting (WinXP host) | ||
| Description |
After a recent full update via pacman -Syu (including the new kernel 2.6.30) my ArchLinux guest is crashing during the boot process. The last message shown is "loading udev...SCSI subsystem initialized". Aside from the package updates I did not change anything in my VirtualBox configuration and also not anything else in my ArchLinux guest. Host system is Windows XP. The attached VBox.log lists a crash in its last lines. |

| #8422 | fixed | Crash of a Windows XP VM | ||
| Description |
I got a sudden crash of a VM running Windows XP SP 3 on a Mac OS X 10.5.8 host. After the crash the VM was in the state "aborted". When trying to launch the VM again the VirtualBox Manager itself crashed (without leaving any traces or coredump). A subsequent launch of VirtualBox Manager and a try to restore the latest snapshot of the VM resulted in another crash of VirtualBox Manager itself again without any trace. See attached VBox.log also. |

| #8832 | duplicate | Crash of openSUSE12.1 64bit factory7 | ||
| Description |
I´ve downloaded and installed the development Version of openSUSE12.1, wich is in fact in the moment a downgrade from the the openSUSE11.4(the development has started on teh level of 11.4 RC1 or RC2. http://download.opensuse.org/factory/iso/ It crashed after several newstarts and during a big (several GB of debugging information) download with yast(zypper). I´ve filed download problems in Windows Guests with the john.doe account, so the log of openSUSE may provide some newer insights of the problem with big downloads.
