| #15619 | fixed | Keyboard layout changes automatically in 5.1 -> fixed in 5.1.2 and later | ||
| Description |
Setup: Linux Host: Fedora 24 + Cinnamon Linux Guest: Fedora 24 + Mate/Cinnamon(either) On both Host and Guest, I have two keyboard layouts 'en' and 'hi'. I use "left Alt + left Shift" to change between layouts. The trouble is that ever since I've installed 5.1, the layouts keep changing automatically. 'en' becomes 'hi' mostly. Also, the layouts on the Host and Guest seem to be tied when I am in the Guest as in when I press 'left Alt + left Shift' in the Guest, the layout of both the Host and Guest change. Its annoying because every time I switch between 'Host' and 'Guest' and start typing, I find that I am typing in the wrong script because of changed layout. Let me know what logs I can provide for you guys to debug this. And yes, this is a regression since 5.0.24. Logs attached. |

| #15617 | fixed | VB 5.1.0 File > Preferences crash on Mac OS 10.11 (Karabiner, Qt bug) | ||
| Description |
Hi, I am running Mac OS 10.11.3 and have upgraded VirtualBox from 5.0.24 to 5.1.0. When trying to open global VirtualBox preferences via VirtualBox.app > File > Preferences, VirtualBox crashes due to a segfault. Emptying ~/Library/VirtualBox and relaunching with a new profile does not help. This issue was not present in VB 5.0.24. This issue occurs with the old 5.0.24 extension pack installed and the latest version of the extension pack (installed via VBoxManage extpack). Let me know if you need other information. I've not included VBox.log files as this happens irrespective of if VMs have been running or not. Thanks, Nathan |

| #15616 | fixed | Linux 5.1 aborts when using a KVM switch (Qt monitor hotplug) | ||
| Description |
When using a KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) switch with VirtualBox 5.1 running on Linux Centos7, the guest VMs abort when I switch from my host computer to my second computer. Here is my setup: Host computer Centos7 version 7.2.1511 with kernel 3.10.0-327.22.2.el7.x86_64. I installed VirtualBox VirtualBox-5.1-5.1.0_108711_el7-1.x86_64.rpm this morning. I can start up my two guest VMs (also running Centos7) without issues. When I toggle my KVM switch from my host Linux computer to my other computer (Windows 10) and then go back to my host Linux computer, both of my guest VMs are gone from my screen. When I restart the main VirtualBox program GUI, both of my guest VMs show "Aborted". I downgraded back to Virtual Box 5.0 (VirtualBox-5.0-5.0.24_108355_el7-1.x86_64.rpm) and the KVM abort problem disappears. If I can provide any more information just let me know. I am trying to attach my VBox log file as well. Thank you for your help. Christopher Juckins |
