#14915 fixed Windows 10 fails to start if multiple CPU's are enabled (IA32_TSC_AUX) MOK
Description

On Intel Celeron (J1900) windows startup fails if I enable more than one cpu. Virtual machine starts, shows windows boot logo and nothing more happens. If I switch back to one cpu, startup works as normal - but it is desireable to give more power to the guest.

Current setup is: IO-APIC 1 Processor / 100% / PAE Hyper-V + VT-x + Nested Paging

Mem: 3500MB

graphics: 128MB / 3D / 2D

I already tried various settings on disabling 2D/3D, virtualisation features like Hyper-V (to none, minimal)

#11460 fixed Regular compiler *crashes* on build machine running as VBox guest MReimer
Description

I don't know if a bug report for my issue already exists.

If you need further information, please assist me with getting the required logfiles. I *don't know* how to get a VBox.log file!

I'm running a build machine in context of Virtualbox. With this build machine, I regularly get compiler crahes. If I restart the compile process, then sometimes anything works as expected and sometimes I get another crash at another position and often even with other crash reasons.

I've attached two screenshots and my /proc/cpuinfo

I tried with "Nested Paging" enabled and disabled, but this didn't change anything.

#12053 duplicate USB 2.0 Webcam displays a black screen MRosile
Description

Seems a lot of people are reporting the same issue with many different types of host, guest and hardware configurations. When attaching a USB 2.0 Webcam to a Windows 7 guest OS, I get a black screen (no image) from the webcam.

Host: Mac OSX 10.8.4 Guest: Windows 7 SP1 32-bit (Windows 7 default settings provided by VirtualBox, 1 CPU) VirtualBox: 4.2.16 /w the corresponding expansion pack and guest additions.

Verified USB 2.0 enabled on guest

All other USB device types appear working (mouse, storage, smart phone)
