#15661 fixed VirtualBox 5.1.0 and 5.1.2 Guest Additions problem in Windows 2000 Guest bob3248
Description

Host: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, Intel Core i7-4770K, 32 GB RAM Guest: Windows 2000 Pro, 512 MB RAM, VT-x/nested paging enabled, all other settings default

The guest additions worked properly in VirtualBox 5.0.24 and earlier. In 5.1.0 and 5.1.2 the guest additions icon does not appear in the system tray and resizing the guest display by dragging the edges of the window does not work and switching to full screen with host key-f does not change the display resolution of the guest. Shared folders do work correctly.

This problem happens in an existing virtual machine that I have used for years and in a new Windows 2000 VM with a clean installation that I created to test this issue. Other guest OS including Windows XP do not have this problem.

#15660 fixed SB16 audio selection crashes VMs Socratis

This is most probably the same as #15659, but it is worse in the fact that you simply don't get a warning (with the option to never show it again), this time the VM aborts.

Attaching logs from a NT4 guest, with and without aborting (5.1.2-WNT4-Abort.zip)
