| #2361 | invalid | Conversion from VMWARE VMDK to RAW to VDI under Windows ? | ||
| Description |
Hello, I tried to convert a VMWare single VMDK file to a raw disk using Qemu on Windows (http://www.h7.dion.ne.jp/~qemu-win/) with the command "qemu-img convert <source-vmdk> <target-raw>, then using "convertdd <source-raw> <target-vdi>". I want to use the snapshot feature within Virtual Box, therefore I try the conversion and do not use the VMDK file directly. The process works fine without errors, however the resulting VDI fails to boot. Is there any "offical" way for the conversion under Windows? |

| #2362 | obsolete | ActivCard smart card reader fails | ||
| Description |
I have an ActivCard 2 smart card reader attached to the host PC (Windows XP Pro) and the virtual machine is also running Windows XP Pro (both SP3). The card reader works correctly with the host machine, but is not recognized by the VM. If I hover over the USB icon at the bottom of the VM window it says "No USB devices attached." If I right-click that icon and select the card reader I receive an error dialog (screen shot will be attached to this ticket). I have installed all the components to ActivClient 6.1 on the guest (and host) machine. |

| #2363 | fixed | Guru meditation (pgmPoolMonitorInsert) on startup of Ubuntu 8.04 | ||
| Description |
Running VirtualBox 1.6.6 on OpenSolaris 2008.05 (the BTS re-spin - note that the /etc/release file says "Assembled 18 August 2008") on a Sony VAIO laptop with a 2.2ghz Dual Core processor and 4GB of RAM. This particular virtual machine worked fine until now. Unfortunately, I have no idea what has changed in my environment that could be a potential cause of the problem. I will attach the .log and .png files that were requested by the error dialog displayed by VirtualBox. |
