| #20936 | fixed | Fedora 36 host compatibility | ||
| Description |
VirtualBox 6.1.34 cannot be installed because it uses an old dropped version of (lib)VPX. The second issue is the use of deprecated/old openssl-1.1. Please recompile for Fedora 36. Thank you! |

| #20934 | invalid | packages for virtualbox installation | ||
| Description |
this is my method of installing virtualbox on ubuntu 22.04 LTS: sudo apt install virtualbox sudo apt install virtualbox-guest-additions-iso virtualbox-ext-pack sudo usermod -a -G vboxusers $USER but in some sites on the internet they mention that I must install the following packages:
sudo apt install linux-headers-$(uname -r)
sudo apt install dkms virtualbox-guest-utils virtualbox-dkms virtualbox-guest-x11 So I am confused because I don't know what is the purpose of these additional packages and whether or not they are necessary for virtualbox to work And therefore, I would like to know what are the necessary packages for the installation of virtualbox in ubuntu (preferably ubuntu 22.04) Thanks in advanced |

| #20933 | fixed | GUI: VM grouping not updating automatically if changed via VBoxManage | ||
| Description |
See discussion in https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=105891 With the VirtualBox UI (Main window) open, existing VMs are cloned and moved into groups via VBoxManage. The actual group change is done correctly (can be verified by viewing the VM information via VBoxManage or by closing and re-opening the VBox UI Main Window. However, with the window open, the group change is not refreshed and displayed when the change happens. I would expect the grouping change to be visible instantly, similar to the VM state (stopped, running, aborted, ...) being also refreshed automatically. |
