| #6806 | invalid | cannot install OS X guest on OS X host | ||
| Description |
I'm on a native Apple MacBook with 10.6.3, and all recent soft- and firmware upgrades applied. I've tried to install OS X Server 10.6 using VirtualBox, but either it hangs at the module loading ("...") when in 32 bit guest mode, or it hangs with "Unknown4 of GetVar" error message when in 64 bit guest mode. Google only points to people who tried installing OS X on other hosts using older VirtualBox versions, having the same error, but I find no posts regarding 3.2.0 on a native Apple system. I've also tried installing OS X Client 10.6, which at least comes to the graphical installer, but then detects no volume to install to. |

| #16609 | invalid | cannot install HD audio driver in XP guest | ||
| Description |
The driver installation of the RealTek Intel HD Audio driver fails in Windows XP guest. This driver installs correctly natively. This means the virtualization for the HD audio device is faulty. This is for a Windows XP (SP2) guest running on Debian Linux host. uname -a Linux nehalem 4.9.2 #1 SMP Wed Jan 11 15:36:50 CST 2017 x86_64 GNU/Linux |
