| #2322 | fixed | Shortcut for guest OS on desktop -> fixed in SVN | ||
| Description |
Wouldn't it be great if user can create guest OS shochcut on their desktop? User just need to setup all the guest OS setting, then right click and select "create guest OS shortcut" ? From now on, user can launch the guest os from Desktop, bravo I know that we can always run VBoxManage.exe startvm <name of guest OS> from command line, user can write a script file easily to do the job. IMO it is the best to let the GUI does the job. Idea came from google chrome, and i believe that it is not difficult to implement :-) |

| #2323 | duplicate | Vista guest crashes saving a spreadsheet to a shared folder -> Fixed, see #2461 | ||
| Description |
I've been getting this for a while now and can reproduce it almost 100% of the time (rarely it doesn't happen). In a Vista Home Basic VM when I try to save a spreadsheet from Excel 2003 to a host shared folder my Vista VM either BSODs or now with VirtualBox 2.0.2 is shut down immediately. File transfer operations work fine so if I was to save the file to the local drive of the Vista VM and then transfer it to the shared folder everything is OK. I'm attaching the log file from the VM after the latest crash. Regards, Deyan PS: The host is Fedora 9 i386 and I've used numerous 2.6.24 and 2.6.25 kernels without them making any difference. |
