| #15726 | fixed | VirtualBox Manager crash on exit | ||
| Description |
Hello, I can reproduce a crash of the VirtualBox Manager, under my Windows 10 64 bit host. It seems it crashes when I close the Manager window, after I've started a VM using the Manager. I'm sending Frank an e-mail with a Google Drive link to a full memory crash dump of VirtualBox-5.1.3-109189-Win. I can also reproduce it with the 5.1.2 release, the crash looks identical. |

| #15724 | fixed | VirtualBox crashing - Ubuntu host, Win7 guest | ||
| Description |
I am running host OS: Ubuntu 16.04, Kernel 4.7.0-040700 VirtualBox Version: 5.1.2 r108956 Guest OS: Windows 7 Pro Everything seems to work fine, except that maybe once every day or two the guest will freeze (meaning the screen goes gray like if you pause the guest OS) and then it force-closes itself and brings up the "VirtualBox crashed, do you want to report it" screen. I'm able to restart the guest OS immediately after, and everything works fine. This showed up in the system log at the time of the last crash: Aug 1 11:04:23 user-XPS-13-9350 kernel: [107485.192040] show_signal_msg: 36 callbacks suppressed Aug 1 11:04:23 user-XPS-13-9350 kernel: [107485.192044] EMT-1[11755]: segfault at 10 ip 00007fb07467dd19 sp 00007fb0c422ebc0 error 4 in VBoxDD.so[7fb074567000+289000] Aug 1 11:05:06 user-XPS-13-9350 kernel: [107528.142940] vboxdrv: ffffffffc0b79020 VMMR0.r0 Aug 1 11:05:07 user-XPS-13-9350 kernel: [107528.429457] vboxdrv: ffffffffc067c020 VBoxDDR0.r0 Aug 1 11:05:07 user-XPS-13-9350 kernel: [107528.551343] vboxdrv: ffffffffc0005020 VBoxEhciR0.r0 I'm attaching the crash file, the vbox log file, and the vm .vbox file. |
