| #95 | fixed | Corrupt Video when changing screen properties in WinXP as Guest, Ubuntu Host after installing Guest Additions | ||
| Description |
Description: The video output of the WinXP guest becomes totally messed up. Problem remains after guest reboot. How to reproduce: Right click on WinXP desktop and choose Settings, the try to change either the background color or the wallpaper. As soon as properties are applied the problem occurs and persists. Observation: The guest is obviously running at 1024x768, while the WinXP screen resolution setting shows a contradictary reading of 640x480. Workaround: Don't mess with the guest's screen properties. Booting in VGA mode (F8 while WinXP booting) lets you boot into your system then maybe a system restore might do it. |

| #1971 | worksforme | Corrupt screen during resolution change | ||
| Description |
This is a minor issue. It has only 'cosmetics' effect. When changing the guest resolution, either by switching back and forth full-screen mode, or by resizing the guest OS windows, there is a short (<1 sec) corruption in the display. This occurs on my Windows Vista host. It happens with Windows XP guest.. It also happens with Ubuntu 8.04 guest (for a very short period of time). This bug is somehow annoying when frequently resizing the window size, or when frequently switching back and forth of full-screen mode. |

| #6584 | obsolete | Corrupted YUV Output | ||
| Description |
I have a multimedia application that uses a YUV overlay to display video frames from a server. On a Windows XP guest VM on a Mac OS X host, the YUV output does not update correctly, and when I force an update by resizing the window, the picture is corrupted - sometimes totally distorted, and always inverted. |
