#4016 fixed Can't install Solaris 10 MU7 5/10 as guest OS MATPOCKuH
Description

I'm trying to install Solaris 10 MU7 5/10 in VBox 2.2.2 on Solaris 10/amd64 system. Guest Solaris hands after "Use is subject to license terms." and does't continue boot. I'm tried to install in 32 and 64 bit mode, checks and clear checkbox like acpi and other, but have no effect.

#4017 fixed PXE+RIS boot fails with virtualbox-ose 2.2.2 Yves-Alexis Perez
Description

Hi,

I'm trying to netinstall a vm using Virtualbox-ose 2.2.2. The machine uses:

ACPI: Enabled IO APIC: Enabled VT-x: Enabled Nested Paging: Enabled PAE/NX: enabled IDE Controller type: PIIX4 or ICH6 Network adapter type: PCnet-FAST III or PCnet-FAST II Adapter attached to: bridge adapter (eth0)

When booting, it looks for dhcp, get an IP (and a “next server” stuff), start downloading PXE image, and then the vm hangs, showing a window with “critical error has occurred” and the logs show:

PCNet#0: Init: ss32=1 GCRDRA=-x-befd460[4] GCTDRA=0xbefd440[1] (CSR0_MISS disabled)

Guru Meditation -4014 (VERR_VMX_INVALID_GUEST_STATE)

If I disable VT-x, machine boots the same, correctly downloads the image and goes to the OSChooser. I then select the image (Windows) I want to install, and it reboots, as if it didn't loaded the image to jump on.

It's a private internal network so the logs aren't easily available, but if you need more info please ask.

#4018 fixed Timesync too slow => Fixed in SVN Martin Cheatle
Description

The VBoxService on OpenSolaris or Solaris does not bring the time forward after restoring the vm state from save file.

The service is running and starts to bring the time forward in the calculated manner, but this is way to slow for a large time differnce. Why doe sthe service not runn the same way as the windows or linux versions which immediatlly on resume resync the time to the host?

Any output that yo uwould like i can supply Regards Martin
